Twisted - Starkid's Next MusicalI don't know how many of you remember, but back in 2010, we had a contest for "What fandom should Starkid tackle next?"  The winning entry was ~silhouetteorange's Disney-themed entry.  
Well, with Twisted, Starkid's answering our request for Disney-Starkid, whether they were aware of it or not.  It's a Wicked-like take on Disney's Aladdin from the POV of Jafar.  
Starkid started a Kickstarter asking for help to support the production of Twisted which looks to be coming some time this summer, and you can donate here: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1138159725/twisted-a-new-starkid-musical-0  They've got prizes you can get for donating, like limited-edition T-shirts, posters, and early-reservation tickets.  Get on that if you've got the funds to spare, lovelies!  :3
AVPSY Release Date - This Friday, March 15!Long time, no see, gang!  Hope things are going well for you all.  If not, hopefully this news'll make your day better.
While there hasn't been any official announcement video about the release of AVPSY, the banner on the Starkid YouTube page announces that it'll be out on the 15th: http://www.youtube.com/user/StarKidPotter
Regarding AVPSY-related submissions to the group, it'll be the same drill as in the past:
I've opened up a folder that you can submit your deviations to, though they won't post to the group right away.
Until Monday, any submitted deviations will simply sit and await approval, so we can avoid spoiling anybody, in case they haven't read the script already or can't get around to watching it right away.
When Monday rolls around, I'll vote any submissions through, and they'll be shared with the group!

Doctor Who Fanbook is brought to you by Life in a Glasscase. We are a group of artists that has been active since 2007. Our headquarters are in Barcelona, but we work with artists from all around the world. We have published ten fanzines in Spanish and three international anthologies in English.
In 2012, we published I Will Burn the ART Out of You, a fanbook dedicated to the BBC's series Sherlock. This project brought together 50 artists from different countries and was enthustiastically received by fans of all five continents.

Cheap Easy Vegetarian Dishes?So, I am not a cook.  Not in the remotest sense of the word, mostly because I have neither time nor patience for cooking.
I'm wondering, then, if you guys have any recommendations for vegetarian dishes?  Pretty easy and cheap?
Examples:
Tikki Masala (comes in a jar) with rice - Mmmmmm, so easy to make (literally just heat it up and dump it on the rice) and so good.  Usually costs 5 dollars a jar and makes about 10 meals.
Veggie Pasta sauce with noodles ($1.00 for noodles, $2.50 for sauce, makes tons of food, super easy)
Fettuccine Alfredo sauce with alfredo noodles ($1.00 for noodles, $2.50 for sauce, same, super easy).
Breakfast burritos - local cage-free eggs, cheese, tortilla, and occasionally morningstar farms veggie sausage.   I usually hate veggie substitutes, but I prefer the taste of veggie sausage.
- I can mix these up, making just eggs, just eggs/sausage, or omelets, or eggs in a basket (egg fried in bread), french toast, blueberry
Art, college, highschool etc.So lately I've been really stressed about school. Maybe you've noticed?
I'm almost done with the first semester of my junior year of highschool, so I'm getting pretty close to college applications and whatnot. I really REALLY want to go to Rhode Island School of Design, but all of this applying and SATs and portfolio and wahtnot is driving me INSANE.
I swear like every single school has their own portfolio requirements, and they're all really specific so I can't reuse pictures much. :/ But at this point my portfolio will be:
-Lots of nude life drawings
-Lots of digital art w/ interesting colors and perspectives (I'm also working on doing more conceptual art)
-Watercolor of a lion that won county-wide award
-oil painting of Marilyn Monroe
-All of the requirements for all of the schools dslfljdsh
I'm just nervous about applying because what if it turn out that I haven't done enough? Or that I'm not good enough? Or maybe my grades aren't impressive enough?

Introduction, just like all the other words, should be represented by how you feel, or what it means to you. Is it an intro to you as an artist? A wave hello - nice to meet you? Is it being introduced to something you never thought you'd experience before? Is it being introduced to your future boy/girlfriend? See? The possibilities are endless...what comes to mind when YOU hear the word "Introduction."? That is the correct answer you are looking for ^_^
