What is the 100 Themes Challenge?
#100ThemesChallenge is a group that aims to inspire artists with a challenge. Many artists suffer from artist block from time to time, and sometimes the best way to fix it is to appeal to the side of our nature that rises to a challenge. We hope to motivate artists of all types with themes, short prompts, and contests. 100 Themes Challenge simply gives artists a starting point... you go from there!
How does it work?
There are five variations, each with 100 themes. You can pick your favorite variation from the 5 pre-existing ones or mix and match themes from multiple variations. When you’ve decided which variation you’d like to work on, pick a theme and use it as inspiration to create!
You don’t have to go in order and there are no limitations on the medium (or mediums!) you

Here's how they go:

will give you one challenge from each one of us once a month. As we don't have money yet to give prizes for competitions, the biggest prize so far will be that the winners will have their deviation displayed on our Featured folder. (YAY!)

~Contest Re-Announcement~Alright, so apparently nobody actually remembered the contest, but people wanna do it. I can roll with that. I'll just re-announce it and reset the due-date.
What is it?
Basically, my parents have finally given me permission to post photos of myself on dA. Because of that, I am holding a contest for you guys to guess what I look like by trying to draw me. (Yes, I am copying :iconcatcatrat2:. I really liked the idea, Jessi-chan.)
What are the rules?
1. Please take note that I am indeed female. I have a deep fear of people thinking that I am male, so please do not let those fears come true. (I mean it, people.)
2. If you have met me face-to-face and still want to participate, please wait until the day after the due-date to post your drawings.
3. When you post the drawing, please post a link to it on my profile. I will add it to my favorites to let you know that I've looked at it. Winners will be announced the next day.

Weekly Spontaneity! ~ [15]It's been a bit quiet here with us just providing Prompts and the Inspiration Project, especially after the 52 Week Six Word Story project we had last year, so we are thinking of launching a new weekly project... with a few additional perks!

This time round, we are going to post something to spark those creative minds, be it a deviation, a quote, a song, or something else completely, and your purpose is to write a six word story. Perhaps the piece will provoke thought, inspire you, or evoke a particular response out of you. Whatever you write, it must be six words only (or rather, original guidelines apply) and you can write whatever you like as long as it is a response to the material we post.

Submission Guidelines

The 100 Themes Challenge group is dedicated to inspiring and motivating artists of all levels of ability and experience. However, there are a few rules when submitting artwork to the group.

1. Your artwork must be properly labeled.
This means that you need to include either:
(a) the variation and theme number in the description, or title, of each submission, or
(b) the theme being used must be mentioned and the 100TC avatar must be present oooor
(c) a link to a journal entry that has details about all of your submissions, including the variation that you've decided to work on.

2. You must submit your art to the correct variation folder.
This should match the info in your artwork description. Only works submitted to the folders Variation 1-5 and Miscellaneous will be accepted.

3. You may only submit 3 entries per week.
If one of your submissions is denied, it does not count toward this total.

4. All artwork submitted must be your own.
We ask that you only submit artwork that you are the creator of. If we find that you’ve submitted stolen artwork, we will remove the offending submission from our gallery and report it to DeviantArt staff.

100 Themes Challenge will never deny art submission because of the artist's experience or ability. However, we do ask that you present clean artwork that you've done your best on.

There are no restrictions on the order in which you submit your themes, the amount of time you take or the medium of art you choose to use in your submissions.

Just have fun with the challenge!

I have been working on my 100TC for over two years now and I use Buddypoke from Facebook/Myspace. I do however draw behind, on and around the buddies and create a new buddy with microsoft paint...i have not submitted any of them yet because i fear no one would appreciate me using Buddypoke. so i thought i'd ask...is it ok if i submit my entries for the 100 Theme Challenge Variation 1 using buddypokes? i have about 40 themes done already if you'd like to view them first.
