Just thought a quick update was in order to show you we're still alive =P

Is there anything you guys would like to see within the group?
Any additions, improvements, changes etc?

On a side note, we're over half way to getting the super status back, only 2229 more points to go! Thanks to everyone who has donated so far =D

EDIT: How about the Hall of Fame? Do you like how it is now, that you have to have all the themes submitted before you get into it oooor should you be allowed in once you've finished it regardless of how many you've submitted?

Do you mean submitted to dA or submitted to the group?

I think you should have to have done all 100 to be put in the hall of fame. Otherwise there's no point in having it. And "I did that on a piece of paper somewhere but it's not on the internet" doesn't count. (Or, well, maybe for a max of 3 themes or something.)

But I don't think you should have to submit them all to the group to be in the hall of fame. I don't submit all my 100 themes works to the group - only the very best ones. Surely it's good to only submit your best work to the group?? 100 deviations from every deviant is a lot of submissions.

You make a very good point there, never thought about it like that.

Currently you must have submitted them all to the group but maybe it should be you must have them all on dA and linked/gathered in one place so we can check it easily.

That's a good idea. I have mine all in a journal. Sometimes I see ones in the group and am interested in seeing that artist's other themes but they haven't linked to it so they are quite hard to find. Especially if they title them something other than the theme name.

In regards to the HoF, I think that you should be allowed in to it, even if you have only finished one variation. To complete one varitation alone is a monumental challenge in itself and should be treated as such. To complete all five is a staggering ask...

I also think that people should be allowed into it if they have completed 100 themes, but selected them from different varitations. Although, this isn't as necessary as the previous suggestion... it'd still be nice.

Um, people already get into it if they've completed one variation, you don't have to have done all 5 to get in =P

You just need 100 submissions completed and submitted, whether that be from one variation or a mixture.

So how do I start this 100 themes challenge? I would like to know the starting point for this challenge.

You can start anywhere you like - though, most people start with "01. Introduction". From there, you can pick any theme you want and continue the challenge. You don't have to do them in order.

Some people even chose to do themes from different variations. I, for one, have done that. It really doesn't matter, it's all about having fun... and a great way to expand your artistic skills.

Okay then. Thank you for the information. :icondragonnod1: Having to not go in order is fun. What do you mean by different variations? Expanding artistic skills is enjoying but sometimes difficult.

If you go to the main page of this group, you can see listed to the right all the variations - one through to five. When you click them, it takes you to the five variations of the 100 theme challenge.

People can stick to one, or pick and choose themes from all of them... hope this makes sense. :la:
