Literature Text

Love is not a describable feeling, for it changes so rapidly. There are so many kinds of love too. There is platonic love, a form of love that is a pure love with no real conditions. A love that lasts longer than most love’s perhaps because of its purity. There is an innocent love. One that is not meant to hurt or harm. One that is pure like a father to a beloved daughter or vice versa. There is the love of a mentor. A love that is meant only to protect, like the love of a family friend who has known you all your life. There is the love of a rival. One that is meant to harm and hurt, because they love to hurt you. There is a first love, a love you think will last for all of time. A love that you think rivals all. Love is the whisper on the wind telling you to be free. And love is the crack of thunder before the lightening hits, warning you to flee. Love is that scrawny boy out-running all those guys, scoring that touch-down and love is the girl leaning on the fence watching him in awe. Love is your heart speeding up whenever that person walks a little closer to you. Love is that crushing feeling when they leave you; love is those tears on your pillow waiting for the one you will never see again to come home.
