Literature Text

her eyes are sparkling with excitement mixed
with a false sense of security. who was to
judge those melanic black eyes, who would've
thought that she was guilty for breaking one's
     very own heart?

his citrine-colored eyes were filled
with grief and sadness. but they were
pretty like that. how does he keep that
all to himself? he's the girl's lifeline,
the one that keeps her sane. or insane.

one time, he drank some vodka mixed with
champagne, she commented that he looked
like a drunken bastard who just came out
from an alcohol bath. he just said "hush,
     don't go insane yet."

she wasn't drinking anything at all and
yet he drank and drank like a man dying
of thirst. she commented something about
being a such a drunk. but he said "hush,
don't go insane yet."

one time, they both said delicate
     words about each other, careful
to not break each other's heart.
     they called it 'introduction'she
hopes that they would know each other more

he thought it was pointless
but he kept introducing him
to her over and over, just
to keep her happy because if
she isn't. she's going to go

     insane.
